Acle were the visitors to Norton Warnes ground. Before the game there was just one point between the sides but by the end of the day Acle had moved 17 points clear of Cromer.

Cromer won the toss and Tom Davies elected to bat and he opened the batting with Rayno Arendse. Arendse made a quick 28 from 24 balls before being bowled by Newman. Davies, Elliott, Charlwood and Brown where then dismissed for very few runs and after 18 overs Cromer were struggling on 66 for 5. Jez Wright now joined Michael Warnes at the crease and together they steadied the Cromer innings. They batted 19 overs, putting on 74 runs before Wright was given out leg before off the bowling of Newman. Wright made a very valuable contribution of 22. With 10 overs remaining Cromer were 149 for 7 and in the final overs Warnes would make his half century and with some big shots at the end of the innings Warnes would guide Cromer to 189 before he was the last wicket to fall, in the final over, finishing on 68.
Newman was the pick of the Acle bowlers finishing with figures of 4 for 42. Lee and Porter both took two wickets.
In reply, Porter looked to get the Acle innings off to a rapid start, scoring a quick 31 before being bowled by James Craske. After the dismissal of Porter Acle were 62 for 3 and Ward and Huggins were together in the middle. They would put on a partnership of 125 to more or less secure victory. The partnership was broken when Ward as out for 58. Huggins would hit the winning runs in the 49th over and he finished not out on 62, with Acle securing a six wicket win.
Arendse and Craske took two wickets a piece. Craske continued form with the ball, going for just 21 from 9 overs, and Warnes magnificent effort with the bat were the only real positives for skipper Tom Davies to take from the game.
