The club have been in negotiations for some time with Bullens Developments over the situation regarding the lease on the current ground on Overstrand Road.
During these talks it became clear that the lease on ground would not be renewed past the expiry date of September 28th 2011.
Whilst the possibilty of having to relocate from Norton Warnes is sad for the whole town, the club are seeing it very much as an opportunity to take cricket in Cromer onto the next level in terms of facilities on offer, not least to the burgeoning youth system currently coaching over 40 children.
The club are in active talks with the district council planners who have suggested a number of possibilities around the town, and we are positive that the situation will be resolved in a way that can give a real boost to cricket - and sport in general - in Cromer.
